“Photography found me when I wasn’t even looking.”

My name is Alex Lim, and this is the first page of my photography journey — or at least, the first time I’ve decided to share it with the world.

I stumbled into photography back in 2008, not with grand intentions, but out of curiosity. A camera in my hand felt like a new language — not of words, but of light, of stories, of feelings frozen in time.

Over the years, this “hobby” has evolved into something more — a way of seeing, a way of being. I’m not just drawn to images. I’m drawn to the technology behind them: how lenses bend light, how sensors capture emotion, how form meets function in every piece of gear.

I believe that every photo has two sides: what we see, and what we feel. And somewhere in between lies the magic. Through this blog, I want to share that magic — the quiet moments on the street, the candid portraits, the gear that excites me, and the lessons I’m still learning.

This space will be messy, honest, and real — just like the photos I love.
